Primal Chaos started out as a musical experiment between Jesper Moberg and Reine Holmsten in 1989. The idea was initiated by Jennifer Turesson in the spring of 1989 and supposedly it was not her wish that it would turn out the way it did. With mostly electrical instruments and mainly digital samplers the first steps were taken. In a couple of months the band made a dozen songs and by the end of spring they made their first two live shows. Primal Chaos is, and was from the beginning, a total concept with weird scenery and outfits, as well as pseudonyms for the band members. The name, Primal Chaos, is inspired by the RuneQuest cult with the same name. Therefore it has always been the bands intention to always mutate and evolve into something else, and hopefully better and more powerful.
